FALL MEETING OF THE SOUTHERN LEPIDOPTERISTS’ SOCIETY AND THE ASSOCIATION FOR TROPICAL LEPIDOPTERA

25-27 SEPTEMBER 2009

The combined Annual Meeting of the Southern Lepidopterists’ Society and the Association for Tropical Lepidoptera will be held September 25-27, 2009 at the McGuire Center for Lepidoptera and Biodiversity, Florida Museum of Natural History, University of Florida. The McGuire Center is located adjacent to Powell Hall on the University campus and can be accessed directly off 34th St. and Hull Road. The tentative schedule includes field trips on Friday, September 25th and scheduled talks at the McGuire Center conference room on Saturday and Sunday. A banquet will be held in the Powell Hall Classroom on Saturday night, followed by an informal slide fest in the McGuire Conference room. This is an ideal time to visit Gainesville as many butterfly and moth species will be active and fall wildflowers abundant. We look forward to a well attended meeting with many interesting presentations. Updates and registration forms will be available on websites for both SLS (www.southernlepsoc.org) and ATL (www.troplep.org).
