The 25th Annual Meeting of the Southern Lepidopterists’ Society (SLS) will be held at the Florida State Collection of Arthropods (FSCA), Division of Plant Industries Building, at the junction of SW 34th St. and SW 20th Ave. in Gainesville, Florida, Sept. 25 – 28, 2002. The meetings will be within the Doyle Conner Auditorium.

2003 Annual Meeting Announcement – Gainesville, Florida
The Southern Lepidopterists’ Society will hold its annual meeting this year in conjunction with the opening of McGuire Center for Lepidoptera Research on September 25-28, 2003 in Gainesville, Florida at the Florida State Collection of Arthropods. The meetings will be held together with those of the Association for Tropical Lepidoptera. All sessions will be held in the Doyle Conner Auditorium at the Division of Plant Industry, Florida Dept. of Agriculture and Consumer Services, 1911 SW 34th St. in Gainesville. The McGuire Center will be open for walk-throughs, and the collections at FSCA will be available for inspection before the meetings. Other collections, including the Allyn Museum of Entomology, are being moved to McGuire Center in late 2003 and early 2004, so these will not be in Gainesville in September.
